Me: Our cats really are seasonal creatures. All of a sudden they’re sleeping in our bed again. I woke up with both of them on me.
Cute Husband: And they love camouflaging in the fall colors!
Me: What an odd thing to say.
Cute Husband: No, really! They hide themselves in the fall colors.
Me: That’s just dumb. I think cats are color-blind.
Cute Husband: Oh. Well, I swear to me it looked like they knew what they were doing.
Me: That’s adorable.
And with that, a little photo-essay of chagrin:

Coincidence? -- Possibly

But here I lost the argument.

That’s hilarious. Truly. And totally the kind of argument I would lose too.
Yeah. Cats. Who knew?!
Your cats are adorable. I love them.
Which is the top one? Moonlight? Because he/she is making the same expression my cat does when she’s trying to ignore me and go to sleep.
We have camo-kitties around our house too.
Your cats are adorable. The grey one looks as if it’s very much concentrating on absorbing every bit of warmth from the motor, though. That’s how my cats look anywhere near a radiator.
That’s too cute!
Cats can see color, fairly well, even.
Yes, yes, now we all know CATS ARE NOT COLOR BLIND AND THEY DO CAMOUFLAGE. I said it! Aloud, to millions of people. (Thousands, let’s not get cocky.)
The gray cat is Moonlight. His twin sister is the small orange one, Sunshine. We aquired them through Craig’s list. A woman found a litter of kitten in her barn after the mother was killed by a coyote in her yard. We picked these two out of the five.
They are extremely affectionate and the most pleasant-tempered cats I’ve ever known, particularly Moonlight.
Ren will kind of half-drag him all over the house and he just gazes adoringly at her.
hahaha! never would have guessed.
These would be good for icanhascheezburger.com – funny pics of cats with captions written purposefully with bad spelling and syntax (as if a cat wrote it).
