Yeah, I think it would be lowering your standards if you were accepting the kitties being on the losing end of that throw down.

Low standards? whattayamean?

That situation does sound pretty darn perfect to me.

I mean, as long as the kitties eat their prey, and don't leave it as a "present" somewhere.

Like, in your slippers.

(Yes, that's happened to me)

I think you have the right idea. I need to start lowering standards once in a while too. Although my husband would argue I've already set them too low!

I hate that scratchy sound coming from the walls. I heard it this weekend at the in-laws house. I heard it over the baby monitor coming from the room where my daughter sleeps. Thinking she was up to no good I go busting in there and she's sound asleep and the sound is coming from the ceiling (attic) above her. I practically ran down stairs and screamed at my father-in-law that he needed to fix it now! At least everything else is working out for you and you can enjoy some peace before baby comes along!

oh man. You're brave! I had a few bad experiences with mice while working at camp. I swear once I killed a few they were after me!!
Good luck with everything, looking forward to hearing that Eden's arrived safe and sound and that your lattes are kicking your after spinal headaches!!

Ewwww. I had birds last year. In the ductwork of the bathroom fan. Except there was no duct work, so they were just in between floors. When they learned to walk, we could hear their little birdie feet scratching on the ceiling.
